Over the past year, we have undertaken a deliberate upskilling initiative across our 60 consultant workforce (30 based in India, 30 deployed at client sites in the U.S.). Our focus has not been on training AI researchers but on equipping consultants with practical, applied AI skills relevant to enterprise needs
We are also formalizing partnerships with major cloud providers to ensure our teams can design, deploy and support solutions within secure, scalable and compliant environments.
A Portfolio Evolution
It is important to clarify what this expansion does not mean. GB Tech Inc is not launching a standalone AI lab or rebranding as an AI-native firm. Instead, we are thoughtfully integrating AI competencies into our existing service lines:
– Staff Augmentation: Now includes professionals trained in AI-integrated development practices
– Consulting Services: AI opportunity assessments are becoming part of our standard discovery engagements, helping clients identify high-impact, low-risk use cases.
– Managed Delivery: We are exploring AI-powered monitoring, logging and support ticketing systems to enhance our managed services offerings.
This approach ensures continuity for our clients while enabling us to respond to emerging demands with agility and relevance.
Why This Matters
For our peers in the IT staffing and consulting sector, the message is clear: client expectations are shifting. Decision-makers no longer view AI as optional or experimental. According to industry surveys, over two-thirds of enterprises are already piloting or scaling AI initiatives and they expect their vendor partners to keep pace.
